Teeth Whitening in West Allis Milwaukee

Tooth whitening (or bleaching) is a simple, non-invasive dental treatment used to change the color of natural tooth enamel to create a whiter, brighter appearance. Teeth discolor over time from trauma, foods we eat and drink, or certain medications.

Why would I come to West Allis Dental to get my whitening product when I can just purchase them over the counter?

The dentists at West Allis Dental Care customize the trays and concentration of the product for you so that you can rest assured that whitening will not damage your teeth. They will also evaluate the condition of your teeth and gums to see if you are a good candidate. If you have many tooth colored restorations (fillings) tooth whitening may not be for you. In this case, other options may be discussed, such as veneers.

Our office uses products called NiteWhite and DayWhite. This procedure involves wearing a custom-fitted clear tray filled with the NiteWhite or DayWhite solution. The whitening process may take days or weeks depending on the changes desired.

Your teeth may require periodic touch ups to stay whiter and brighter, therefore it is important to keep the custom fitted tray.  Refills of the product are available at our office if needed.
